AVG Free -

I have tried 5 different antivirus software editions, some free and some not free. Of those, I found AVG Free to be the best in terms of how much it helped in preventing viruses without slowing down my PC too much. It contains a lot of features including anti-virus, anti-spyware, a link scanner to warn you of links that likely lead to a malicious web site, a resident shield to scan files as you work with and more. The virus signature database gets updated automatically and very silently. To find more information and the download button click on AVG Free.

Piriform CCleaner -

Piriform CCleaner will cleanup temporary files and browser related files, the recycle bin, cookies, and other types of files that can clutter a system. I found the registry cleaner to be extremely useful and had no problems using it, however I would still recommend creating the registry backup CCleaner prompts for just in case there are any problems. To find more information and the download button click on Piriform CCleaner.

Malwarebytes -

If you have AVG or almost any other well-known anti-virus software package installed, you probably already have fairly good malware detection from that. Unlike anti-virus programs, it is OK to use more than one malware detector and Malwarebytes is a very good one. The free version does not run automatically with a scheduler. To find more information and the download button click on Malwarebytes.

CloneSpy -

Clonespy can be a huge help in freeing up hard drive space by recognizing duplicate files on your system. The file name, date, time, and location of the files can be different, but if the contents are the same, CloneSpy will detect it. To find more information and the download button click on CloneSpy.
